Sarah Amsler is Senior Reference Data Editor, Swiss Art Research Infrastructure (SARI) at the University of Zurich, and information specialist at Vitrocentre Romont.
After graduating in information studies at the Haute École de Gestion in Geneva, she worked as a librarian in the acquisitions department and as coordinator for user services at the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law in Lausanne (2007–2013). In the meantime, she obtained her Master's degree in Information Science from the University of Applied Sciences in Chur in 2012. Since 2014, she has been working at Vitrocentre Romont, where she is mainly responsible for the vitrosearch database. In addition, from 2015 to 2018, she organised the training courses for the members of the Bibliosuisse Association (until 2018: Bibliothek Information Schweiz). The focus of her interest lies in the valorization of the cultural heritage thanks to digitization strategies.
